It was 2001 and I was noticing some mild recession
I hopped on hairloss forums and alt.baldspot devouring all the information I could

I even ordered some fincar from India and had it in my hand

But I would read post after post about 'reflex hyperandro' and increased frontal fallout.

It freaked me out and I just froze

Years and years passed by and I've gotten bald as hell

the worst mistake of my life that I will regret until the day I die is not jumping on that finasteride in 2001

DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE

Hmmmm...I see your eagerness to help others learn from your mistake mevsdht, but it's never a wise thing to rush into using a medication no matter what that medication or medical treatment is. Slow, decisive and informed is the best way to proceed. IMO.

you should have listened to your instincts and not some shitty post you read.... then you wouldnt be bald as hell, let this be a lesson for all of you. if you don't want the horseshoe take your finasteride... and take it good god damnit!

because the horseshoe doesnt wait for no one... why would you wait for it to show up?

TAKE YOUR finasteride AND DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!

I feel the exact opposite - I regret the day I ever tried to do a thing about my hairloss - it was ok for a year and now, after making the mistake of switching from finasteride to dutasteride, the side effects kicked in:

low libido
problems getting it up
no morning wood.

three weeks later, it has barely improved...

I'd recommend anyone not to go anywhere near these drugs and just cos you aren't seeing this side effects YET, doesn't mean they won't happen.

Are you serious, you've given it 3 weeks and are complaining?

Try 3 months and then you can decide if its worth continuing or not.
