I doubt it. On the other hand I am a little doubtful that topical spironolactone works all that well so I dont know how it became a popular alternative to finasteride. The evidence it works is flimsy is at best.
I have used it for 3 or 4 months before I just got sick of applying it and making my hair look thinner and greasy each day. Didnt notice anything.
