I'm researching my option for anti-androgens (I'm female, hair loss/Androgenetic Alopecia started 2 years ago after a Telogen Effluvium).
So far I've heard that spironolactone was the recommended treatment for women but I just read an article that said that finasteride was actually pretty effective for women as well.
Does anyone know what's the difference between these drugs? Meaning how they actually work at reducing DHT? Is spironolactone safer?
