I'm trying to add to my regimen. I've been using finasteride for about 19 months, and i've tried to add to my regime several different times but with no success. i found out the hard way that i was alergic to ppg, so regular minoxidil and folligen are ruled. I have used tricomin in the past (prior to finasteride) and I liked the way it felt on my scalp, however I'm scepitcal about the results (if any). If i use minoxidil i have to get it with glycerin and that makes for a mess, but if this is the best option i guess i need to deal with it. Oh and i have used nizoral in the past but that seemed to irritate my scalp, but i have been using tea trea oil shampoo and that works pretty good. Any suggestions on my next move?

Yes Dr. Lees PPG free minoxidil is a bit greasy, this site also sells a PPG free version for sensitive scalps which is cheaper than Lees, but i don't know if it is less greasy

PPG free minoxidil

Personally I like Tricomin as i think it helps other products work better due to improved scalp health. You could also consider adding spironolactone lotion.
