Two Years On Finasteride And Minoxidil

Hello,

So I am 23 years old, I started experiencing hairloss at around 18 and went to a dermatologist when I was 20.
I've been on finasteride and minoxidil ever since, initially 6-8 months into the treatment, it worked great. My hair loss almost stopped entirely and hair density greatly improved. So I started to lower the dose from every day to every 2-3 days and then slowly the hairloss started again with my hair thinning really fast. Im somewhere between a Norwood 2 to a Norwood 3 right with my crown starting to get visible.
So, Its been a month since I started with 0.5 mg dutasteride every 3 days and started using nizoral 3-4 times a week aswell. My hair ive noticed is still falling tho.

Any advice?

Oh I didn't stop, Instead of taking it every day I started taking it every two days. Then when I noticed my hair starting to fall again I went back to taking it every day but to no avail

wish you the best of luck, but I highly doubt the every other day thing had any affect. It takes around 72+ hours for dht to rebelance I've even read a week.

If it gets bad you could go on the powerful 3. Oral minoxidil, dutasteride, oral spironolactone. But there is high risk of side effects.
