Are any other members here under 25 and balding? What do you use to combat it and what future treatments/cures are you looking forward to?

I am 17 and my stupid hairline started receding since at 15, it is currently in the shape of the Mcdonald's logo :(.I started balding so early due to both of my parents suffering M/F pattern baldness before 30, so my hair genomes suck. My older brother is 21 and shaved his head BALD!!! I am starting to miss my perfect hairline and looking forward to TSUJI / RIKEN hair multiplication cure.. I am against taking Finasteride as i'm against due to its negative sides effects when used long term so please don't recommend that on this thread.

So, if i may ask, what future treatments are you looking forward to?

Short term Fidia and Shiseido (both we hope will release in 2018). Long-term term if the prophecy is fulfilled Tsuji will bring all us baldies to a "hairy ever after" life.

Meanwhile it's time to get a decent job and start saving.

This. Start saving. A lot!!!
These future cures, like Tsuji, are gonna be aimed more towards the extremely wealthy.

My family is wealthier than most people on this forum. money is the least of my problems.

Bf20 - let me tell you - I regret every day that I didn't start propecia/minoxidil sooner. I waited till 27 or something when there was noticable temple recession and lots of diffuse thinning. If I was 23 or 24 again, I'd jump on it asap.

I am hoping that tsuji will make it and that hair cloning will at least enter the market between 2020-2025.

In the mean time FUE would do the job and buy me some time (since I could then count on cloning later in life, in case of ongoing hairloss). But before cloning is a certainty and a matter of price, conventional transplants are still risky.

I dont put any hope in those other shady techniques and methods at all.

I'll probably do one more hair transplant (in 3-4 years) and then I hope a cellular based therapy a la Tsuji will be available for multiplication of HF's.
Shouldn't be Tsuji the way to go in 3-4 years? A transplant now should help you till Tsuji

I plan on maintaining on the Big 3 as long as I can and then going on dutasteride if I have to. I am skeptical about the arrival of new treatments, but open to them. Hopefully at least Follica will be out in the next 5 years and it might help me maintain a little longer. Then I am going for transplants.
