Using propecia for 7 months and shorter length hair shedding

Hi there,

I need some advice. I have been using propecia for 7 months, as I have slight frontal hair thinning. Over the last couple of months I have noticed a few short hairs (about a couple of inches long) from the front of my scalp falling out, but my hair all over is about 7 inches long. Is this something to worry about? Or is it a sign of propecia working on my weaker hairs that will hopefully regrow longer?

Note in the last two months I have added nizoral and msm to my regime.

thanks for any advice.

i dont think msm can make a new cycle tbh,i think it just speeds up the growth...

but i could be wrong.

thanks!

it is just bizarre because the longer hairs are not shedding but the shorter ones are.

anyone else got any ideas?

Interested in hearing from people about this as well. My hair is only probably 1.5-2 inches long but the only hairs I seem to shed are like .25-.5 of an inch. Been on treatment for 7 months now.

I have been on finasteride for about 5 or so years now and I still only shed hairs that are about 1/4 to 1/3 of the size of healthy hair that I would otherwise have to pull out by force if I wanted to compare them to each other. The hairs are also usually lighter in color. I would say that shedding smaller hairs is normal when on the drug.
