Pretty bummed from this covid situation. No swiss lace in #1 are available anywhere and I'm starting to look for alternatives.

There seems to be plenty of stock for UTS, but i wonder about their durability, how do they compare to swiss lace?

From what i've red, 1 months seems to be pretty common for these types of system

My UTS lasts 6 months. It's perfect for 6 weeks, and then the quality gradually degrades but generally 4 to 5 months are achievable with care and then 6+ months if you really take care.

I'm having to make my current system last long because of the lockdown. It's now 6 months old and I will have to make it last probably another 3 months!

From what I understand the only reason thin skins (the easier of the two) are being made is because China has been forced to train people on how to make them. No normal production will resume until the North Korea border opens up. It's insane just how devastated and unprepared this industry has been for something like this.
