I am 34 years of age now.
I started Propecia (1 mg) at age 24, for about 28 months, I grew so much hair. (Rogaine and Propecia), yes I had some sexually side effects, such as penis numb-ness.
At age 27, i stopped Propecia because i decided to have our first baby. My daughter is healthy. Yes, I know Propecia had no effects on birth, but i want 0 risk.
At age 29, I started Propecia again, again I grew a lot of hair for 2 years, same sexually side effects.
Age 31, I stopped Propecia. because I want to have another baby.
Now just turn 34, Wife is due coming December, My hair loss getting worse recently to a point everyone (friends and relatives) whom hasn't seen me for 3 months, and will mention about my hair loss after seeing me.
I was thinking about starting Propecia again today, but just this week, there are so much bad news about Propecia. Got me scared and thinking if cosmetic really worth all these trouble, and should I just accept the fact and shave all my hair.
Note: I've been on Rogaine since I was 25 and haven't stopped at all, not sure it works, but it was really obvious it was working when I was using Propecia. Without Propecia, it hasn't help much, as hair loss getting worse by the week.
Thanks for listening to my story.
