Wash Out Hair Wax (gatsby) Before Rogaine At Night?

I apply hair wax (Gatsby) every morning before school, then few minutes or hours later I apply Rogaine foam.
Question is, is it ok to apply Rogaine before bed without having my hair washed out that had already hair wax or sprayed on it? Or do I really need wash it out before applying Rogaine?

Does this wax usually also spread on your scalp?
If it does, there is a chance topical treatments do not penetrate the scalp's skin as efficiently as without wax.
The most efficient and efficacious way to apply minoxidil would be on a freshly cleaned but dry scalp.
