I hate the nights when you can't get your hair to look proper :( My hair's thick enough to do whatever, but my hairline just isn't up to par, so I have to style with some serious effort around the front, and i've managed to screw that up 3 times so far... here goes attempt #4, wish me luck.

No offense - but it's amusing that you've shampooed several times today, while a poster on another thread has quit shampooing altogether.

Deaner is not the guy in his avatar.. everybody thinks that at first, but you gotta hound him over and over before he lets you know. (I asked him a million times when I first joined the site :p ).

He just likes that guy in his avatar, thinks he looks cool or something.. likes to trick us other users. :D

deaner: what do you use for a styling agent?..dont use anything that weighs your hair down, which includes, hairspray, mousse, gel, wax.

i posted someplace else before too about a hair repair serum by 'by frameci' i think its italian. not sure, but it drys up instantly in your hair leaving absolutely no residue, and has an ok hold.

if not this, use "surf hair" by garnier fructis, its hair gum, adds a matt finish and thickens your hair considerably.

blood of the dragon styling gel is my favorite

or fruit of the earth 100% clear aloe vera gel ..

both are excellent, all natural, and last a loooong time.

lol why cant he use hair spray, gel, or mousee...that pretty much eliminates any styling agent a person would use in order to keep the "wet look" going.

I mix a thick hair glue (got2b glued) with a lighter paste called "quick change". Mixing them at the same time in my hands gives me the hold of the glue with the styling ease of the paste. I lock it into place with some hair spray (sprayed horizontally or upwards so i don't push the hair down with the spray). All of this takes me maybe 3 minutes?
