Wedding 1 Month Away, How Bald Will I Be?

Really great timing to discover my thinning crown. I never thought about hair loss because I have a perfect hairline! Anyway, I would say I have a fairly progressed thinning crown- you can see my scalp in the sunlight, and its very noticeable when my hair is wet. Can anyone give me some idea of how much worse this will be 1 month from now? I can deal with the way it looks now, but I'm worried it will get worse by then. I really have no idea how long its been thinning, but it feels like this came out of nowhere and progressed very fast.

For reference I am 38 years old, with NW1 hairline. My mother's father died with a full head of hair (another reason I thought I was in the clear), my dad however is about a NW5 or 6. No brothers to compare myself to.

I think I am going to start Rogaine after my wedding...unless some think I should start right away.

No one can tell you how fast its gonna progress but I'd definitely wait till after the wedding to start a treatment like rogaine, for many reasons and one being you not worrying about missing an application the day of your wedding along with the shedding that can happen and etc...

Imo a month will show very minimal, if any aesthetic difference so I wouldn't worry too much for your wedding day, but you can always consider using some Toppik to feel confident for your wedding and the photos, that's what I'd do if I were in your case.

1 month will likely not show any more visible thinning imo. If u want to look "picture perfect" you may wanna try topic to mask your thinning (I've never used it but have heard of ppl having great results). I believe they even sell it now at target. Try not to worry and enjoy your special day.

Make sure to get a haircut now. Don't make the mistake of getting one just before.

Oh, and as others say, don't start treatments before the wedding because you'll start shedding or even get sides (hopefully not)
