What Does The Future Hold For Hair Re-growth?

Hi,

I can see that today we have many treatments available for hair re-growth however each treatment has some kind of side effect(some pretty scary ones). Is there any new solutions coming into the market that have no side-effects? Is there anything like minoxidil 5%, that has little to no side effects? Do you actually think a cure is possible for hair loss?

I'm 22 years old and my hair is getting weaker on the top and there is some hair loss on the crown of my head, it really makes me sad because it affects my physical look :'(

Right now finasteride and minoxidil are our best bets for regrowth. You can try dermarolling if you want because some people say it helps. This is the same principle that Follica's technology is based on, which is supposedly going to be out in a few years. In terms of new solutions coming to the market, there are several that show promise, such as Shiseido and Tsuji/Riken. But again, they are years off and I am not holding my breath. I am tackling my hair loss based on existing technologies. The best way to get your hair back fast today is hair transplants combined with finasteride and minoxidil. I haven't gotten any side effects from the treatment but everyone's different. I would say give it a try.
