tbh I'd like mine back more than anything else. I never had a perfectly straight NW1 hairline but my hair was very thick and jet black in color. Looking at older pics is quite depressing knowing I never appreciated having "perfect" hair.

ori, ive said this before but that head tatooing is ****ing disgusting.

i shaved my head years before it started falling out and it wasnt just the look women liked, it was how it felt. ive gone as far as sleeping with women that did nothing more than stroke my head ffs, if i was in a club there would be about dozen different girls in a night who would randomly touch it walking past.

as a baldy now and even when i was diffusing out, it all stopped. theres no way a painted head could ever recreate the velvety feeling a buzzed full head of hair has.

only those of us who have had it can say otherwise imo, ive been accused of exageration before by people who only started shaving after starting to go bald. no bird goes near a shaved NW2+

if thats a look youd go for (like me) then there is the surgery option, as the hairs will never grow out, body/beard hair could be used to maximise the number of grafts.

impossible for me, too expensive

I imagine the amount of grafts needed to give you a full head of hair look of a buzzed NW1 would be insane. Scalp micropigmentation is the next best thing really, even if it will never feel as real hair, at least it looks right aesthetically. MP + low density transplant would probably the best combo but then it stops being affordable.

Slipy, seriously? I'd rather be bald if I had to wear hair just like that, not kidding!

what a f'd up thing to say, Maystor. i'd pick almost anything over being bald, with the exception of the mullet.
really not a fan of short conventional hair styles.

Something along the lines of Morrisey for me.

In regards to MP Brighton, I've considered this as a last ditch resort myself and while I admit it is not ideal I somewhat disagree about the touch aspect. You only really get that velvety feeling after growing the hair out for at least a couple of days past the stubble stage. With this procedure you would litterally have to shave either with a razor or clippers on 0 everyday to maintain the illusion. My biggest problem with it would be being under constant scrutiny because people WILL ask you to grow it out. My excuse would be really bad hair texture with some unmanagable cow licks force me to keep it buzzed. It's not ideal but when I feel desperate, I want some kind of relief.

unless you buzzed your hair with no guard pre-balding like i did aged 17-23, your thoughts are irrelevant when faced with my own experience.

total strangers WILL randomly try and feel your head, even one days growth has that velvet like soft feeling, one days growth (and i mean the evening after a morning shave) feels like felt. scalp MP should be illegal, its sold as a solution but it is going to be nothing but a source of ridicule... and it doesnt wash off.

Hence why I haven't done it. Anything that is not real will be ridiculed.

My health is going downhill. I can feel myself deteriorating. I haven't enough love for myself to pull out of my self-destructive course. Why should I fight so hard to be so miserable? I just want relief from this pain.

i think the work you appear to be doing to try and get over it is the only path left.

baldness may be cured one day but the damage is done for most of us, even if a cure came out tomorrow i know at least my life has been changed.

over the past two years ive left my home town, left my old job, lost contact with most of my friends and almost all of my family, all just to come to terms with myself. the longer it goes on the harder itll ever be to rebuild bridges.

as more and more hair fell out to the point i was just bald, i avoided more and more events where id be seeing people from my past who knew me with a full head of hair. that was the route of the changes i made in my life, ultimately it was baldness.

the next step was getting off facebook because of all the tagged photos, that was another blow to whatever chances i had of staying in touch with people.

on the flip side, since ive moved to a new town, started a new job etc and ive been surrounded by people who have only ever known me bald, my life is a hell of alot better. i go out alot more, im more comfortable with everyone, i dont care about having photos taken anymore. ive even managed to pull women a couple of times since ive been here.

as much better as it is, it will always be an empty existence being a man with virtually no past these people know of, i dont even have anything to hide, its just the way things have worked out.
