Because of an email account verification glitch. We lost half of the members because of that. Took a year to fix.
I agree.. There used to be robust in-depth discussions… I was unable to post for a year … The top 10 topics used to be great.. now so uninforming…
But through all this I continued to experiment, research, & learn.. The owner made a statement after a year of these f*** ups & acted like nothing has changed & nothing was wrong..
I hope the site regains some of its past glory.. The reason for male pattern baldness can now be summarized very easily.. & the treatment can now be imagined..

how can you say you’re interested in hair loss if you don’t even have a regimen?

This place is the Dead Zone. It used to have actual members that posted regularly. Now it's a ghost town. They might ban me, but since I'm only here maybe ten times a year, if that, I really don't care. It's the truth.

Actually they are not. I think the original poster was banned. Am I wrong? Most of these posts that circulate here are a few years old.

HairlossForum used to have dedicated posters who were exploring exotic solutions to MPHL.. They were citing scientific studies & the back & forth was entertaining… I think the glitch in HLF temporarily banning users & the mods not responding or unavailable chased them to Telegram or Reddit under new names/handles..
The androgen/DHT model has obvious validity in MPHL but what is the solution is the question. For me I have basically stopped the typical protocols to concentrate on stimulating the follicles to grow again in Anagen phase.
Androgens basically stop the hairs from growing on top of the head.. Women’s hair are basically always growing undeterred.
But altering hormones is not the practical answer. It has now been proven scientifically that hair follicles despite being bombarded 24/7 with androgens can be restimulated back into Anagen growing phase from the non or significantly hampered non growing Telogen phase..I did not understand this..
But now I do.. The next question is how far the follicles can be re-stimulated.. because more doesn’t always equate to more hair..at least at this point

Dead as hell. Scientific research work for hairloss has been stagnating as well. Feels like people nowadays do not care about this stuff anymore
