Safest anti-androgen is no anti-androgen, really.
Something like CB which (at least theoretically) breaks down in the blood-stream.
Or the Novan drug, SB204, would've also been a great addition if it was available:

I think it’s weaker than RU. So, not ideal regarding price/performance.

Yes, CB is probably the safest antiandrogen out there, as it breaks down in the bloodstream into a harmless substance. However, CB is a lot less effective than finasteride. Currently, we don't have any available alternative to finasteride that is both safer and of equal or greater effectiveness.

I am okay with a weak one. I just cannot afford CB
