NW3, but his hairloss is unusual

I've never seen anyone with that tiny of a frontal island NOT have thinning in the crown.

He could end up being a NW2a, which is the loss of the entire frontal hairline.

I've seen a few guys on campus who have this and it just looks ridiculous. No thinning at all in the crown or on top, but they literally have no hairline. There's really nothing you can do with it - atleast recession can be styled.

If he got rid of that front island and grew bangs, I doubt anyone would even think of him as balding. His hairline wouldn't even be that high.

Actually this type of loss is fairly typical. I've seen a whole lot of people with this hairloss, myself included. In fact my father and brothers have no crown loss whatsoever and have kept the front island. What sucks is you're right in saying there's very little you can do with it. They basically have to keep it short all around and hope it doesn't get any worse.

But for the record I notice this type of hairloss the most b/c it hits pretty close to home for me and I have seen a large number of people exhibiting this type.

That doesnt look better at all.

The island is a bit larger yes, but you can see he´s thinning all over :(

Dunno why hes not doing anything about it, all the Hollywood stars (well most of them) at least where hairpieces.

I'm sure he's tried shitloads of treatments. He probably wears a hairpiece for movies but the british press would have a feild day if he started wearing one in public. His hairloss has been mentioned for the last 10 yrs.

To my knowledge he hasnt used anything, not even in movies.

The only time there was something done that I know off, was in this fragrance commercial from last year.

He could have started wearing hairpieces a few years ago, so no one would noctice the hairloss.

I have certainly seen worse pics of him. Hair we go :D. Btw, people have told me I look like him, so a little bit of hairloss may only be good for me. I would be very happy if it stopped there of course :D. His hair looks very good.

I think he could still pull off a faux hawk. I don't think he'll go entirely bald either, and he has ample donor hair. Plus he's better looking than 99% of balding guys, has a succesful career, and a great life. I wouldn't complain.

Actually, I just realized he's got basically the same pattern as John C. McGinley, aka Dr. Cox from Scrubs.

That picture is from Office Space, which came out 10 years ago. He's had the same little island for a long *** time. When he grows it out though he looks fine.

Same with Jude Law - he's the master of comb forwards

All it takes is that little wave of hair, and you go from noticeably balding to (cosmetically) having a full head of hair. Its how it goes.

Yeah, McGinley's retention is pretty mind blowing. It was pretty much the same in platoon nearly 25 years ago. Just goes to show that premature recession and premature baldness are different things. Maybe 90% of us young guys are flapping and flailing over nothing.

Rafael Benitez has similar male pattern baldness but a bit more advanced.

I have been developing similar pattern as well. I just hope that I get to keep that island in the middle for as long as possible. My uncles don't have "the island", so my family history is not on my side. I expect to look like Benitez in the future.

Yeah, McGinley's hair is a freaking anomaly.

That's from 23 years ago!

He also hasn't really aged in the face either. Makes no sense.
