What Norwood stage are you at?

You don't really "progress" in Norwood, that's how your hairline ends up.

I'm holding on to a thinning-in-front (and all ovre top) NW1 with decent success so far. No one would think I'm balding at this point, though I did thin out quite a bit for a while.

I fear my hairline won't hold here forever and will go to a deep NW2/3.

I'm in between 2 and 3. I was expecting to be 3 by now, but my hairloss hasn't been so agressive.

My mum once compared me to a guy who is clearly NW3, so I'm thinking maybe I'm closer to NW3 than I think I am.

Started here as an early NW3V, but have moved down to a NW2 on 3 months of finasteride. I'll be a happy boy if I can keep it like this for the next 5 years, especially going into my 30's!

I'd take a guess at NW2.25

Hairline has receded at the sides but I have long hair covering that and most people don't notice.

I do however have a clear thin patch about 10cm in diameter at the back of my head. Nothing, can hide it from the light.

Me too, more likely close to 6 judging upon the remaining hair-covered area of my head.

Personally, I don't consider as "real baldness" anything up to NW2-3, if the vertex is intact. In my eyes this is just a mature hairline, a little bit advanced if we talk about NW3.

NW2.5 but that is not so much my problem as the diffuse thinning in a NW5 area.
