I am a NW2 - 2.5 (its worse than Bradley Cooper) and am almost 22. My hair was been slowly receding since I was about 19, but didn't realise untill recently.

What strength minoxidil should I be using. It seems that the vast majority of people out there do not get considerable temple regrowth on 5%.

My goal is to get my old hairline back. It was never like an NW0, but a hairline similar to brad pitt, clooney or Francisco Lachowski.

Thanks!

EDIT:

Im on 1.25 of finasteride a day

Just get the regular 5%, because if you start with anything stronger, and decrease the strength, the lesser strength will not work for you.

Per my own experience, 15% minoxidil works much better than 5%, and I never experienced any side effects from 15% minoxidil. But it is not a bad idea to start with 5% minoxidil and then move up to your strength of minoxil.

Hustlingbadly, where did you get the idea that lower strength minoxidil won't work any more if you ever used high strength minoxidil? Is that your own experience or scientific study or your speculation.

Scientific studies. And you could do your own research in the matter. The first person to alert me on this matter was my doctor in the UK.
