Ok, here's the story:
I started using cipla finpecia from inhouse pharmacy about 3 months ago, I got the side effects like watery semen but that was about the only negative one.My scalp had been itchy before I had ever taken it, but once on finpecia it went away. Not sure if it's had any effect on my hair at all....
Then my supply ran out,
so,
I decided to go to my Doctor and get a perscription for proscar and quarter it, as it's the same monthly price as the cipla stuff, and wanted the peace of mind that i'm taking 100% legit stuff.I've been taking the quarters for the past 8 days now
My problem is:
a)My itchy scalp has returned after 3 previous months of no problems with the finpecia
b)I'm thinking that, when I cut this proscar pill into quarters, even if they are physically 1/4 of each other, How do i know that the doseage of finasteride is divided properly.ie maybe 1/4 is 3.5mg and the other 3 are 0.5mg.That pill isn't designed to be split so the doseage cant be distrubited evenly can it??
Basically I don't know if I should go back on the finpecia or stick with the quartered proscars, and could do with some advice....
cheers,
K.
