Do you mean weight as in the density of the shaft itself? I would personally be trying to shoot for both...denser hair AND a higher count.

Is it really possible? Up until now, I've only been focused on actually getting hair follicles to actually grow on my head. But is it really possible to increase the density of the shafts of the hair follicles themselves? How do you achieve denser hair...along with a higher count?

Right now, I have hair follicles, but they're not really very dense at all. In fact, quite the exact opposite. And I think that's my most significant problem at the moment.

My hairline has receided, but my hair is also thinning, and there are less hairs standing on my head, i think for me personally its easier to thicken the hairs then to get all the lost hairs back.

Asking what's better seems subjective to me... but I personally think thicker hair looks healthier than thin dense hair... even if it is receded a bit.
