My grandpa was a thick NW1 through most of his life, went thick NW2 on his forties and then in his fifties went from NW2 to NW6 in a short amount of time. Instantly bald.
My father had his first signs of balding on his mid twenties, went NW2 with a DPA pattern, altho he had thick NW2 hair, so just by buzzing his sides and growing the top out, he looked like he a fullhead.
Now my father is in his fifties and he's still a NW2,5.
My father started balding much earlier than my grandpa, and yet his hair is still here.
I see people tell others "If you start balding in your twenties, you will go slick bald for sure" and "If you start balding in your forties/fifties, the max you will get is a NW3/4, you will never go full bald".
BULLSHIT.
If you start balding young, you're not doomed.
If you start balding old, you're not safe. No one is safe.
male pattern baldness is different for everyone.
I wonder what my future will be. My hair loss seems to have stopped for the time being, which might mean i'll follow in my father footsteps, although i'm still a bit scared since i can't really tell if my hair is worse than my father at his age, he looked like a f*****g fullhead on old photos, even though he said he started losing hair on his twenties too.
