When should you call it quits on a regiment?

Currently on 1% finasteride/minoxidil topical and now it’s been 1 month being on this and it’s still not working. Pill form took 7 months to halt my balding but I expect it to work in a few more month. When should I call it quits if it doesn’t gain anything or halt hair loss?

I would give it a year at least and see if you at least can slow things down some. Slowing it down is still a win.
