I'm going to but one or the other. They are supposed to do the same thing right? So why is Tricomin so much more expensive? Has any one used one and switched to the other?

Tricomin is more expensive than folligen pretty much because it is a "clean" copper peptide. By that I mean that it has been rid of impurities. Folligen on the other hand is as pure as you can get, and when you apply it in your scalp it will turn green until you wash it off.

The advantages of Tricomin is that it doesn't stain as much compared to Folligen, however, with folligen you can only apply it every other day at night and get results (at least this is what Dr. Pickard says).

Now, I have to say that I have been using folligen since February and have felt no difference whatsoever. Not sure if its just helping me maintain but still, I was hoping I could get some regrowth since I already take minoxidil and finasteride and it has been reported that it aids in regrowth if you're on the big 3.

Thank you for the info, much appreciated. I think I might go with the Tricomin just because it sounds less messy which will make it less of a hassle to use.

Nathaniel is that a pic of you rockin' out?

tricomin is proven. folligen has only been tested by the guy who sells it, on lab animals.

For what it's worth, I've seen more positive testimonials for Folligen than Tricomin.

BTW, I use both.

folligen made my scalp turn green, pretty embarrassing(can't spell) when you don't know it and someone points it out!!

probably more people use folligen than tricomin because of the price. I wonder if these people are using other stuff too. I hope the folligen peptides are good, since that is what my face cream is. But I'd rather have the tricomin peptides.

I've been using tric only the last few years - but as I appy it before bed, I'll probably opt for a bottle of folligen next tme around (just to save a few $$.

I have used every big name copper peptide multiple times and there is no doubt in my mind Tricomin is the best.

And the owner of this site sells it dirt cheap.

And no I do not make any money off of it. :)

Tricomin is the same price everywhere: $48, give or take a dollar. Some places give free shipping if you buy more than one. Buy it here though to support this site.

Mixing it up doesn't hurt. The Tricomin Peps are in my conditioner and DNC. I also use folligen EOD.

Why don't you use it at night and then wash it off in the morning?

The best at what though? Like yourself, I too have used every big name copper peptide, even going back to 1999 when I first tried Prox-N.

Of all of them, I would say Folligen did the best job at thickening existing hairs, while Tricomin seemed to be more adept at soothing irritation. Prox-N was also worthwhile but far too expensive to continue for any period of time.
