White flaky scalp buildup

Hi there :

I was wondering if anyone has noticed a white buildup on the scalp using Propecia. I've been on the drug for over two and a half months, but not sure if this is normal or something to be alarmed about (stop the drug ).

This white buildup as far as I can see is on my frontal hairline and all around where hair grows on that area...not sure if it is blocking my hair growth in the process, seeing that Propecia is known not to do much on the frontal area.

any advice or comment in this respects would be nice.

anyone on Propecia notcied any white dry buildup in front of their hairline and closer to temple areas ??

make sure you are using Nizoral 2% on a regular basis. I doubt this has to do with propecia though.

Thanks for commenting. It has to do with Propecia, because I've stopped it for approx a week now and it's become way better.
Never in my life before I've had this problem, a buildup on my frontal area I mean.

Has Propecia made any significant difference for you ? and have you felt other side effects in the process ?
