yeah WTF where am I supposed to buy this sh*t now I was just about to order a year supply. I am pissed. All my hair is going to fall back out all cause of a stupid piece of paper that is hard and expensive to get

looks like I am going to have to buy this from a site and brand I don't really trust

I wasted 8 months trying to get a script just for finasteride and I lost hair in the process, and the whole thing only caused me to jump to a more extreme regimen of dutasteride + RU because if I am gonna get stuff online without a script **** it I will just get the strongest **** I can and buy it from a more unreliable source than I could with a prescription. That's what prohibition does instead of people drinking beer they start drinking moonshine, and heroine is outlawed and people can't get needles they end up buying them on the street and getting AIDS or buying heroine mixed with other poison as filler material which is even worse than heroine. The whole process is retarded, I should be able to put in my body whatever I ****ing want

Online pharmacies are never the way to go.. Go see your doctor or dermatologist!!

Otherwise I ordered from 4rx twice and believed the finasteride to be legitimate....

This is not good. Luckily I just ordered a 6 month supply a few weeks ago, but I just checked the website now and yes they are asking for a prescription. Looks like we have to find a new site.

That sucks big time. Good thing I ordered a 2 years supply late last year. I guess one of the positives is if they are asking for a script then the stuff should be legit. I plan on just getting the stuff from a local pharmacy from now on, since they dropped the price. When it comes to your finasteride supply, always keep a buffer of at least 6 months.

How are you even suppose to get your prescription to them? My Doctor sent the script to a specific pharmacy, I didn't get paperwork for it. I don't think most Doctor's will send a prescription to an online pharmacy, since they are pretty much frowned upon. This is a big blow to the hair loss community.

forgive me my ignorance, but why cant u just get a legit prescription from a Doctor?

u know its real, u have a written record if anything goes wrong, u have medical support, u avoid putting god knows wat into ur body.

and above all, its easy to get. i dont see wat the problem is, its not like ur asking for morphine.

if ur going to be on it for life, u might as well just get a script. these internet pharmacies are fleeting, and non trustworthy, and u risk losing ur product to customs. if it is real, its probably a very cheap inferior product.

It is cheap but not inferior. I got a blood test showing my dht was ~10% of normal levels from generic online dutasteride

Price is the major factor for me. I went to the doctor to get a prescription, but at the time even generic was expensive. It would have cost me over $800/year. I was able to get two years worth of generic proscar for a little over $100. Since the price drop I hear the price is around $30-$40/month. I will most likely start going with stuff from local pharmacies once my current supply runs out. The need for a prescription will definitely hurt their business.

All day chemist has good prices but there is a 25$ flat shipping fee. I ordered 2 packs of 90 pills (180) but they shipped me 2 packs of 100. 200 finpecia pills for $55 (including shipping). I'm cutting them in half so not bad for a years supply. The only downside was that my debit card didn't work and I had to give it to a customer service rep over the phone.

I've said this before and I will say it again. There is no logic behind online pharmacies and online drugs. It has to be illegal for one thing. You could be getting fake pills. There could be other harmful products in those pills. Do you expect to be able to buy Percocet online? How about marijuana? I will admit when I lost my good insurance I resorted to genpharma from India. It seemed legitimate enough and other users online testified for it and had lab tests on it. But how can you know for sure? Now a days you can go in and get a physical from your Doctor for free based on your insurance ask for a rx and get a 4 month supply for 10 dollars at walgreens. Just ask your doctor to prescribe proscar split in fourths. When i look back at my India finasteride days I think how ridiculous. Generic finasteride didn't even exist back then. How was there even such a product out there?

As long as you research what you're getting it's perfectly safe... It's not like Dutagen dutasteride is going to secretly be rat poison.
Anyways apparently they don't force a prescription for regular customers... yet. I just ordered fine.

If it doesn't work, try AllDayChemist or QHI, they might have finasteride or dutasteride...

Your insurance must cover finasteride because I don't think it is that cheap. I heard it is more in the $30-$40 range, but if you are right then great. Many if not most will not prescribe proscar unless you have prostate issues.

Walgreens has an annual prescription plan for 20 dollars. I get the stuff cheap through that plan...

I don't care how legitimate online drugs look. I don't care if they are real 50 percent of the time. You are never going to know if it's real or not unless you get it lab tested. Counterfeit finasteride has been around for years! Everything can look identical to the real thing and still be fake. One of the most popular drugs to do that with is finasteride. Google dermatologists that deal with hair loss and get a prescription. C'mon people.

Bummed about this. Placed my first order for a 6 mo. supply that runs out in a month.

I don't completely trust echecks so I'm not going to try that avenue. I have a feeling the "requires a prescription" thing is BS. I know that's the situation with my contact lenses (they say they'll confirm with a doctor but ship them out the next day anyways).

But, since I only have a month left, I'm going with another vendor that claims to ship fast. Can't risk getting an order stuck with inhouse.

Worst case I'll get a real prescription from a doctor to hold me over. Last time I requested Proscar I was denied, that's what drove me to getting it online in the first place

Many of us use online pharmacys because our doctors wont prescribe anything to us. I also have to because unless I shell out the money for an appointment myself(risking still being denied) I cant have an appointment with a real doctor anymore. Tricare prime forces me into military hospitals and I'mm on student status for a lot longer, meaning I can only see ****ty corpsmen until I rotate back to a real command.

I got seriously lucky because this is just a week after my latest order from inhouse. Had I waited a week I be out of luck. Ive ordered from them like 11 times and they still ask for a script.

I'm just saying there are more than one doctor out in the world and that ordering online should be a last resort. With all of the uncertainties with finasteride why risk not getting real stuff?
