Good news my friend. Minoxidil in a foam version (and over 10% strength!) has just finished its phase III clinical trials and will be available commercially towards the end of this year or early 2007. You should check out the "New Discoveries and Treatments" forum from time to time!

i guess it going to cost a lot. consider the price of Rogaine, what the price going to be? double? who know. maybe by then, Dr Lee 15% minoxidil is consider cheap compare to foam version. guess generic version won't out so soon.

It wont be expensive. Its a common misconception that new treatments will be out of reach due to cost. When manufacturers produce new hairloss treatments, they keep in mind that the people who will be buying them will be average Joes. I believe Dutasteride was simply too expensive a drug to warrant its use in male pattern baldness, that is why in never materialised as an male pattern baldness treatment.

Hey Britannia,
Do you know if it is going to be released over the counter or prescription at first?
