Why so many shedding reports after propecia?

I still not getting it. A lot of people say that propecia can't harm your hair, and has nothing to do with shedding. But more, and more people are reporting big shedding right after they start using it. Some even for couple of months. And most of them claim that their hair just got worse since.

#1. People don't know what shedding is.

They attribute further loss to shedding when it is simply male pattern baldness continuing or in some cases speeding up. They also falsely expect shedding so they see what they expect. Visual placebo I suppose. If they were to somehow truely know how much hair the lost before Finatseride, it would probably be the same amount.

Before I get slammed, notice I said number 1 reason, not the only one reason.

I went through a finasteride shed about 2 weeks after I first started taking it in September. It was the worst shed I had ever had--my scalp was extremely oily and I was horny as all hell :). I quit taking it about 3-4 weeks in because I was nervous the shedding wouldnt stop.

I decided to bite the bullet again in December. My hair did not shed this time around but I did become horny again :). Since then my hairloss has essentially stopped and I've received some considerable regrowth and thickening around my widows peak(I am using minoxidil and nizoral as well). I plan on posting some pics in a few months.
