wig?spironolactone?azelic acid?confusion

i just read about the options of topical spironolactone azelic acid i dont know whether females can use it as i thinking of having a child now i dont want to giv any harm to my baby so im freaking confused and pshyced about treatment should i invest money in all these regimes and just carry on life with wig who cares what i do does anyone really make fun of our pathetic situaion can anyone be so rude i think this way then i get depressed i know depression wil cause hair loss but what to do im human an ordinary human sorry for my emotions

Hi Rita,

spironolactone as an anti-androgen taken orally and has the same health risks as finasteride/propecia. I am not sure about topically though, maybe Mayalopecia has the answer.

I don't think azelaic acid would be a problem in that sense, but once again, I am not sure. Here is a bit more info on azelaic acid

Oh PS as for whether or not you should do the Hair Club treatments vs. a wig, if your hair is REALLY that bad, then I honestly would go for the wig. Wigs are a lot cheaper and easier to maintain than gluing a piece to your head. Please try and sign up with the MSN Wig Support site, I posted the link to it in the previous post where I replied to you. You will see how beautiful and happy these women are with their wigs. It seems as though their spirits are lifted and they have fun picking out colors and styles. I am really inspired by their posts.

Take a look, it won't hurt! I did and honestly I ponder how I'd look as a honey blonde!
