Ok, so here's my story so far which I will summate as best I can:
Noticed my hair was beginning to recede at the temples at the age of roughly 22, freaked out by this I had laser and minoxidil "therapy" at advanced hair studio (I know, I know). This treatment caused me to recede further into my hairline which I understand can be normal to begin with in a lot of treatments. however after 18 months of this my hairline continud to reced with no regrowth whatsoever.
I then continued over the next year or two to use minoxidil sporadically, stopping at times to see what effect this had on my hairline which just continued to recede.
Last year I thought I'd start a proper regimen, and began using finpecia and minoxidil, the finasteride just ate my hairline seemingly by the day and also caused diffuse thinning which i hadn't experienced before, really freaked out this time I discontinued the finasteride, my hairloss cobntinued but slowed down.
About a month ago feeling out of control about my continuing hairloss I started a new regimen, again using finasteride and again my hairloss went crazy.
Before you guys think I'm being impatient, bare in mind I spent 18 months on minoxidil with no results, also my hairline is still plausible at the moment and so i'm not in a "nothing to lose" situation (I'm a nw2, although the finasteride is fast turning me into a 2a) and therefore Im stuck between thinking I'm trying to arrest my hairline in an early stage and destroying my hairline by my own hands.
Also the rate its going I'm thinking that's a lot of hair for the finasteride/minoxidil to grow back, the terrible truth is that all these products can cause increased hairloss without necessary any regrowth.
Any advice etc greatly appreciated.
