will microneedling and minoxidil be enough for me?

My dermatologist prescribed me minoxidil for hairloss because finesteride has been giving me side effects, however I'm not sure if it will be enough. Would microneedling help? And why aren't more people doing it as an alternative treatment to finesteride. isn't it almost as effective? Need honest feedback. I'm also wondering if we're allowed to discuss shaving in these forums.

Should jump on 15% min like dualgen-15, if ineffective then oral min, then add maybe topical dutasteride, pyrilutamide / KX-826.

Dutasteride can go systemic despite the higher molar mass. Many have experienced it going systemic. And I also get side effects from finasteride but does that stop me from using it? No sir it dont.

Min and needling by itself is a losing battle in the long run.
