Of all time.

Wow, ok so I lather up, and what not, however I am lost 30x the hair I usually lose when I use my normal Shampoo. I mean, I lost like 10 per shower, I lost around 150 easily today when using Revita. it didnt even take away the gel in my hair, it like added on. My hair feels horrible, I am tempting not to go back in the shower and use my normal shampoo.

Wow, My hair feels all sticky and thick, compared to light and bouncy( I have curly hair)

Hmm. Well I've been using it, 3 times now, and haven't noticed anything like that. Jm0311, if you genuinely believe that it's making things worse, take photos so that you can show everyone. If it indeed does make things worse, or better for that matter, everyone here would benefit from photos to see the effect.

Different hair types have massively different results when it comes to shampoo.

American Crew CP shampoo made my hair look horrendous and to others it did a fantastic job.

I'm going on 2 weeks. No maor problems to report. It is lke a conditioning shampoo though (for me) so my hair does look like its not totally clean.

But I can live wit it.

How would shampooing with ANY product one single time cause a ton of hairs to fall out? I don't deny what jedi claimed to have seen, but it would seem like you could shampoo with BLEACH one time and not have it remove hairs that aren't ready to shed anyways. The ingredients in Revita is hardly that of BLEACH as well. I just don't see logically how this could be the case. Now people are going to read this post and shy away from Revita, just like people do with minoxidil cuz of the shed, and those do with finasteride because of the side effect rate that was the same as placebo.

I think what he observed was because revita produces quite a weak lather, you can see whatever hairs come out more easily. Or it was just a coincidental shed.

I can say for sure that some can have an allerigic reaction to ket which can cause folliculitis, I am a prime example. I started nizoral after reading about it here, and it turned my scalp into a greasy, inflamed, shedding mess.

If you are allergic to sulfa drugs you should not use any of these shampoos including nizoral or Revita. You may not even know if you are allergic to them unless you've actually taken one of these drugs for something and have had a reaction. If anyone has taken the drug Septra which is a sulfa based antibiotic, and has had an allergic reaction, you should NOT touch Nizoral or Revita.

I'm certainly not trying to scare anyone from using these shampoos, but no one ever takes into consideration that the active ingredient is a prescription drug and could cause reactions in some.

Hmm, I mean my hair is extremely weird right now. I think I massively shedded because I didnt shampoo for 2 days and the gel was keeping the sheeding hairs along with the other daily other shedding hairs for I have long hair. However, I think this shampoo is more of a conditioner, it barely cleans my hair, I am going to have to shampoo it with a normal shampoo and then condition it with Revita, is that bad?

beaner,

I never heard of that. Thanks for sharing the insight. Though could would you describe be related to what jedi described as his experience???

Jedi,

Are you PRE-WASHING? This means using any shampoo (a lot of us use cheap, because it's simply a pre-wash) before a hair loss shampoo. I will use $1 Suave and simply lather up for about 10-20 seconds and rinse out. This will effectively clean your hair/scalp and then your Revita or NANO (or whatever other hairloss shampoo) will lather up considerably better than it does without the pre-wash. Then leave it in your hair 5-10 minutes and rinse. You could still use regular conditioner afterwards too but I guess it all depends on whether or not you think you need conditioner after using Revita.

A placebo is something you give to a patient group while testing a drug, because if you give someone something and tell them it's a drug, they will imagine benefits or side effects. (Or perhaps the mind actually creates these things on its own.) So one group will take placebo, the other group will take the drug being tested, so the researchers can compare the results to the placebo group to properly determine its effect on people.

Or, like in the M*A*S*H* episode where they ran out of morphine, they gave their patients a placebo and told them it was morphine, just in the hopes their would be a beneficial psycho-somatic effect.

By the way, did you use a dictionary first before asking this? I'm guessing not.

forget i said anything

Follically Challenged is being dead serious. Its the most important part of study.

Even the doctors who are in direct contact the the patients in a study don't even know who is in the placebo group or not. Its called a double blind study which is the golden child of true studies.
