I just finished my consultation with Dr. Lee, and the main reason I am going to him is because the extremely long dry time of Rogaine. Leaves my hair alll gooky when it finally does dry. Which of these two am I better off with?

It depends on what else is in your regimen. Do you have anything to combat DHT? If yes then use item #500. Dr Lee pushes that Xandrox garbage too much.

I do use finasteride for DHT. The Xandrox is a fair bit more pricey than the minoxidil, so it would be nice if I could stick with the minoxidil. I just hope there is enough of a change in Dr. Lee's Minoxodil compared to regular Rogaine, which I find unusable.

I find regular Minoxidil unusable myself. You will like his regular Minoxidil, don't by the Xandrox.

I was going to send my first batch of money to Dr. Lee this week, and thought it would be for xanadrox. I would like to try twice a day minoxidil and cant with the Greasy look rogaine gives.

Is it that you dont believe the Azelaic acid adds anything, or that Xanadrox has a different effect (greasy) vs. the 5% solution? I havent really looked at the price closely...

Hi Guys, what exactly is it that causes the greasy residue on the hair? Is it the PPG or is it the minoxidil itself? I've used Dr. Lee's #500 minoxidil and it does dry fast, but it still leaves a bit of a sticky residue. I know he offers a non-PPG formula and I wonder if that has the same sticky residue.

Dr Evil

I don't buy into A-Acid. Especially since I use Finasteride, there is no point. Saying it did work.

Pretty much both. 2 %minoxidil is not greasy but it has the same PPG as 5%.

The PPG free item has a glycerin base that takesr longer to dry than regular Minoxidil of the shelf.

If you think item 500 has a sticky residue, you would never want to touch anything else!

Thanks Cassin, and I have touched some other stuff such as Kirklands. Now that is greasy stuff! It seems that my scalp can take just about anything so I was wondering if Dr. Lees formulation that doesn't have any PPG would leave less of a reside.

The other thing I've noticed is that sometimes I have a dirty white reside that is left on my hair after using the minoxidil. Is this because I'm using too much? It's weird because I can go weeks without seeing it and then all of sudden every application leaves it on my hair.

Sorry I made a typo above read what I meant to type

"The PPG free item has a glycerin base that takesr longer to dry than regular Minoxidil of the shelf. "

This stuff supposedly takes over 4 hours to dry since it is a glycerin base.
