My whole skull is shaped like this im having a cranioplasy next year but it will never be perfect because eyes an ears cant be moved so i think your ok dont let baldness ruin your life. I know its hard but it gets better
Two news reports I've seen say the new cell therapies will cost about the same as a transplant does today, anywhere from $3k to $10k.
And then at some point there will probably be a drug that really does grow hair on bald heads. Frequency Therapeutics is making hair researchers appear to be dogging it by comparison. Frequency T. is on the verge of a drug treatment for a vexingly difficult to solve "hair loss" disorder of the inner ear. Sensorineural hairs in the middle ear break off with noise exposure and aging. FT is now ready to do a phase 2a clinical trial using a drug that will stimulate progenitor cells in the middle ear to re-grow a very specialized type of "hair cell" that doesn't normally re-grow in humans. That is, until now.
Just like hair follicles on our heads, the hair cells in the inner ear(about 15000 each ear) form in the fetal stages of life, and that's all you get for the rest of your life. Well, this company says their drug FX-322 changes all that. I think hair researchers will discover a drug, maybe sandalore, that will re-grow hair follicles in human scalps.

It is very encouraging they have received fast track FDA status. Quite likely that progress will creep slowly to clinical treatment for actual patients. But I put it at an extremely high level of anticipation because my hearing is going to sh*t as has my hair. Certainly, this is one condition that is recognized as a serious medical problem costing millions annually and with a psychological and social stigma that exceeds baldness. At least in the eyes of medical necessity. As far as application of therapy goes, it gets back to the fundamentals of stem cell/progenitor cell residency (niche) and cell signalling for any permanent solution.

Care to share ur supp regimen ? Why are u balding so much are you still using PQQ daily ?
The WHO estimates that just the cost for treating hearing loss globally is $105 bn in 2015 dollars. I think the cost to the global economy must be very high as well if they factored in loss of people participating in the workforce.
What i think is remarkable is that these "hair cells" are situated in a closed environment, the inner ear. It's not like the human scalp and hair follicles right there on our heads and representing the most accessible organs in our bodies for researchers to solve. And these cochlear hairs the drug is re-growing in people are working to improve auditory function and word recognition scores in patients. Apparently stimulating existing progenitor sensorineural "hair cells" causes them to grow in the correct and natural direction. I think Ralf Paus et al are trying to achieve something similar in hair follicle regeneration.

I wish we knew more about the complexities of stem cell involvement in many human tissues. Whether due to vascular supply, calcification or hormone effects, stem cells refuse to remain populated in the follicle and so it dies off or becomes dormant. The longer it goes without producing new hair, the less likely it will regenerate. Even though I have high hopes for methods like Tsuji, I worry that co-factors such as cell signaling (Wnt, etc.) aren't sufficiently understood to reliably predict the process of multiple life cycles with hair cloning. It's quite interesting in their video that they mention the stem cell regeneration of intestinal cells.

I take CoQ10, Alpha Lipoic Acid, NAC, Acetyl-L Carnitine, Hair,Skin, Nails with Verisol (Life Extension), Vit K2, PQQ, 2400mg Omega DHA,EPA, Horse Chestnut Seed, Macuna Pruiens, tocotrienols, tocopherols, Macuguard, [Black Maca, 20mg Grass Fed Whey Protein, Creatine, Beet Elite (daily smoothie)], MitoQ, Melatonin, L-theanine (before bed), Vit D3, NAD+ (d-ribose), probiotics, Vit C, Senolytic Activator. I buy and try a few other things that sound interesting from time to time also.
Why balding so much? It's just been a slow burn from my 30s on. Lost too much by the time Finasteride became available. But, I used Minoxidil back in the days when you had to grind up the pills to make a solution. Used it for years, but I am one of those who, Mino has no effect on. Tried every form of topical since. But absolutely no effect. Possibly, I may have accelerated the loss because I worked out heavily from early 20s-40s, probably increased the testosterone levels.

Why no PQQ ? Latest research suggests it can be widely beneficial. Mitochondria are one of the leading causes of aging.

I had to edit the post because keyboard error posted before I finished. I use PQQ bid. But only been on it for a year. Note I take 2 forms of CoQ 10 one of the best things for mitichondria
