All of those meds are good for hair in one way or the other. Estradiol alone or estadiol with either spironolactone or cyproterone acetate are common simple MtF protocols. If you get your estrogen levels up, hair seems to improve but there's a debate more so about regrowth. In cases where follicles are dormant, it takes a lot to "wake them up" and adult female levels of estradiol and testosterone might be indicated in those situation.
Dont touch cyproterone. I dont understand why people bother with that. Dont take it if you take dutasteride. They both interact together in a bad way. And especially dont take a NSAA with a SAA.
my DHEA S is very high. 2 times more. I need spironolactone and estradiol. I can’t take dutasteride. is it possible to do without dutasteride

I have a fog in my head from Avodart. like a drunk. I become very weak and overwhelmed. rasveratrol is very expensive. Do you think a regular dietary supplement can suppress the adrenal glands better than spironolactone?
But how is blocking T with spironolactone going to make you feel less drunk? Most people will tell you that spironolactone has by far the most effect on strength and conditioning. Duta isn't even close or in the ballpark and I have used both extensively. spironolactone is associated with fatigue, brain fog, depletion of Nacl, loss of strength and I could go on and on, excessive sweating is another side and I had all of them and I never had a side with any other medication of any kind my entire life. Estrogen pales in sides to spironolactone.
I would check if my adrenal gland works well firstly. I only can recommend Resveratrol, it's really healthy, eleminates (free) radicals, reduces oxidative stress, promotes better oxygen supply and eleminates (adrenal) androgen precursors by -50%.

do you use a lot of estrogen without AA? don't you take dutasteride too?
I do although AA is a term of art in HRT. Technically reductase inhibitors are a type of anti-androgen but a selective type. I do use medroxyprogesterone acetate and progesterone which lower T but not like "AA's" do. The main three AA's are bicalutamide, CPA and spironolactone and they all work more so by blocking receptors than actually lowering T, especially bica and spironolactone. CPA is sort of in the middle between MPA/provera and bica and spironolactone in terms of how it works.
Well, we need terms that males feel comfortable with. We could call all of them prostate medications and I wish I had used that excuse with my family some times. But in general, anything that works for the treatment of prostate cancer tends to promote scalp hair growth and diminishes body hair growth.
Bicalutamide does not cause heavy feminization. I just don't buy it. The only thing it can cause is severe gynecomastia and estrogenic skin.
I am agnostic on it. I don't plan on using any of the three main AA's. They all have sides and they all have liver effects unlike parenteral estrogen. I do know that the Dr. Will Powers folks seem to proclaim that more bica means more breasts....
