What is SDG? Would ground flax seeds do the trick?

    Red Cheeks

I had that finasteride side for years before I added Nizoral to my regimen, so I don't think it's the shampoo... well, not for me, anyway.

    AC Revitalize vs Tricomin

Are they essentially the same product? They both use copper peptides. Which one should I get?

    rapid miniaturization

I'm experiencing extremely rapid difuse thinning. What really freaks me out is that every single hair that falls from my head is MUCH thicker and pigmented at the tip and progressively thinner and transparent at the base. The difference in color and diameter between the two ends is dramatic...

    Red Cheeks

I've experienced that exact side, off and on for 7 years now. Dry, red cheeks with occasional pimples. Never really gets worse, but it's annoying. I always look like my cheeks are flushed. Never had this prior to starting finasteride. Try natural emu oil. It works better than all the other moisturizers...

And once again, the most important thing is to give the drug TIME. This is SO important. You've been on for five months. That's not enough time to see real results. Give it at least a year. At least!

The worst it could do is not work, which, luckily for all of us, is statistically unlikely. It'll never make you go bald. Especially for someone in your very early stage of hairloss, finasteride is the VERY BEST possible defence. It works. Keep the faith!

consequences of not using minoxidil for 2 weeks

How were your gains from minoxidil before you started on finasteride? When did you start noticing a big improvement in your hair? I'm asking because maybe finasteride is the workhorse in all this and the minoxidil gains are marginal. I'm wagering that is most likely the case. If minoxidil is giving you sores...

Changing Dosage: 5mg twice a week

Not to sound like a broken record, but why? We certainly can't expect it to work better than taking 1mg per day. So if it's really just to avoid the hassle, I don't think it's worth it. I mean, taking five seconds to pop a pill before bedtime every night is hardly a hassle... I guess I just...

Well, you should be happy you did this because now you can rest assured that you are not losing more hair than normal. You can lose up to 100 hairs per shower and it's still "normal". 30 hairs is nothing. Seriously. Don't sweat it.

Because jeffsss has JUST started losing his hair. It's still very early in the game for him. He doesn't need minoxidil to grow a bunch of new "fake hair" that requires so much attention and is vellus or only slightly thicker than vellus. I understand if you've got huge gaps and minoxidil grows a bit of...

Yes, I'd definitely stick with the Nizoral. I know people have some success with topicals, but when you're mixing everything up at the same time, it's really hard to know what's working for you. I used minoxidil for over a year on its own and it bummed me out big-time. finasteride kicked mucho *** for...
