Could short hair be the reason or create this illusion? Im skeptical since none of my family have ever had male pattern baldness. I may wait a few months for my hair to grow longer if illusion is the case! Prior to the haircut 2 weeks ago, i had longish hair and didnt notice this before then.

Notes: No one bald in either sides of family or in past. Had hair cut to 2 and 1 half - 3 inches a couple weeks ago. Lighting might have an effect. Also - will taking a picture of the crown in the dark or relatively low lighting be better? And if i do - and the whole base of the crown is also...

Got 2 problems - the left side of my hairline looks weird and isnt connected to the middle area? Looks somewhat strange, looks like baby hairs but im really unsure and it makes the hairline imbalanced. They are like fine hairs that look like a fringe but right at the front of hairline...

Not sure if my LEFT temple was like this back then though - no clear images of me as a kid from a side angle -so cant tell. I do see little hairs where as if the temple has receded from - like a little trail which i am unsure if they are growing. (Right beside the left temple - small hairs)

You really cant see a differece between the first two images? (Left and right temple) I feel as if i see in the first image that there is atleast a line of missing hair at the temple when comparing the two. Almost as if the left temple hair is creating a right angle triangle.

Its just the left temple im worried about - everything else should be looking fine! Il put some more images though! First ones are of left temple - second to last is right temple. Last is new haircut like an hour later - left side too.

ALSO - Noticed i have small short hairs in the left temple area by zooming in - my right side has the same hairs yet they are long and normal (reason why it doesnt look receded). Can i expect these small hairs on the left temple area to grow - and if so : will this restore the temple hair area...

Still unsure how to feel about this - will most likely wait and monitor for two months to look for any changes - what happens if i see no change in length at all? Also - how is your hair now since you said my temple currently looked like yours in the early stages? My family again told me that...
