Crown Loss Or Nothing To Worry About?

Notes: No one bald in either sides of family or in past. Had hair cut to 2 and 1 half - 3 inches a couple weeks ago. Lighting might have an effect.

Also - will taking a picture of the crown in the dark or relatively low lighting be better? And if i do - and the whole base of the crown is also dark and black - will it mean im not losing hair?

It looks like mild thinning on the crown.

You should visit a dermatologist.

Could short hair be the reason or create this illusion? Im skeptical since none of my family have ever had male pattern baldness.

I may wait a few months for my hair to grow longer if illusion is the case! Prior to the haircut 2 weeks ago, i had longish hair and didnt notice this before then.
