I had a doctor visit about 20 min ago, and I was told that I could have a propecia script, but not a proscar one. That isn't going to work for me, I need the cheaper version which I can cut.
I'm hoping I can change the doctors mind, but I'm not really sure where to begin? Does anyone have a...
This really worries me as some of my donor hair isn't what is used to be... I really think it's Curis's Hh or bust for a lot of us.
Michael, a two part question for you.
What is your opinion on insulin resistance and hairloss/sides and back thining because IR? If you reverse IR, would hair...
Copying/Pasting....
I have a question for you guys... I remember reading that HM will also be marketed to womem who's hair thins out all over their head. So thinning back+sides should not be an issue, right? If so, why?
I know my sides/back have thinned out a bit (more towards the...
MB or News2, I have a question for you... I remember reading that HM will also be marketed to womem who's hair thins out all over their head. So thinning back+sides should not be an issue, right? If so, why?

Untrue. Diffuse thinners have it WAY worse, If I had my Norwood minus the dissue thinng I would not give a sh*t. Diffuse trumps reeceding (anything past a Norwood 3, it becomes even). One sucks, the other sucks more.
bump... Interested in the vets thoughts, Mivhael Barry for one. He posted all sorts of info in the 30+ page HM thread about why hair is being attacked by the immune system.
I gave someone your post and asked if he could give his opinion on it. This is it.
-------------------------------------------------------
First let me ask you what part of the hair follicle is getting attacked by the immune system? Is it attacking the part that supplies blood to the hair root...
Yes and no. Hh is going to be used in a number of ways for a number of different problems.
The worst case senerio is a cancer like growth, but not cancer itself. Now to be clear, there were NO SIDE EFFECTS to animal models. Curis's FDA trials will be about two things.
1). Side effects...
Fibrosis won't be an issue. A slick nw7 for 20+ years would get his hair back. Hh kicks the hair back to the anagen phase and the cycle begins.
Yes, your genes will kick in again and you will stat the balding process after the cycle is completed. However this Hh agonist is cheap. No man...
Still, I think Curis's (if things go well) Hh agonist gets through FDA trials, yada yada, I think it's going to be 10x better then HM.
1). It'll be much cheaper
2). People with diffuse thinng all over their heads will benefit
3). No Bosley hair transplant bullshit marketing gags.
IF** things go...
