Copying/Pasting....

I have a question for you guys... I remember reading that HM will also be marketed to womem who's hair thins out all over their head. So thinning back+sides should not be an issue, right? If so, why?

I know my sides/back have thinned out a bit (more towards the back/side hairline area) so I'm curious. So if thinng doesn't matter I'll need my whole head injected...

EDIT: How will they do hairlines?

Hairlines? Who knows, they haven't released detailed information on how they do everything yet. Once phase II ends well likely get a flood of info.

As for thin donor hair it wont be a problem but they might have to take a larger biopsy and you might have to go back for top off treatments for the results you want. Extra filler treatments are supposed to be priced at a fraction of the original cost.

Eventually they plan to be able to take super donor hairs from people with excellent hair and transplant into other patients with poor hair but that's a ways off.

I think it all depends how good the growth will be. If for example a needle of diameter of 0,5mm injects 0.05ml of cells-liquid and grows 2-3 hairfollicles you could design hairlines with it just as you can with placing small grafts. Now if you stick 1000 needles along your hairline and you would get the effect of 2000-3000 grafts. Hairlines are the most difficult to create because their shape can either make you look great or like a freak. Filling in crowns will be much much easier in my oppinion.

I would still like it better if someone like Armani or H&W created my hairline and then even Bosley can fill in my crown. As long as no hack is coming near my head with a knife.

Bosely says around 8-10k but final costs haven't been figured out yet.

Is that $ (Dollars) or £ (Pounds)?

Dollars i believe. They're aiming to make it cheaper than a traditional hair transplant.

Where do they say that? it will be posible for a guy to have hair like brad pit's while in reality he has black curley hair? WOW that could be amazing.the back and side hairs could ve removed somhow?
And how do they expect to avoid AN IMUNE ATTACK ON NON SELF CELLS?

It's been mentioned a few times. I'm too tired to dig up source material but im pretty sure washenik mentioned it in that old 2004 interview. Its not a current goal for either company and there isn't any information on how they plan to get around the problems like imune system killing the cells it's just something that they believe will be possible in the future.

Personally i could care less about having movie star hair cells put in me. Having my own hair in good shape is good enough for me.

I would plant David Hasselhoff chest hair on my *** and chest. Pamela wouldn't be able to resist me then.

I'm not sure if this is true, but this is something I read somehwere: As the FDA is a US institution and Intercytex a British company, HM may be available in England before the USA, because it may not need to go through a regulatory process there.

I'd also like to know if this is true, as I might be going to England in about three years or so.

Let's hope so :)

Different countries have different regulations. It's very possible HM will launch in its home country before the US. Possibly in Japan as well....
