My advice is to not overdo it! At first I used it 2 or 3 times a week and didn't really notice anything, good or bad. However, my hairline took a pretty decent hit when I started using it 4 or 5x/week. I can't tie it directly to nizoral, but the random shedding stopped as soon as I quit.

Alright, so I'm looking into this whole hormonal deal, but it's all very confusing. Is there any way (medication or lifestyle choice) you can raise free-testosterone levels then? Or would you do it by suppressing estrogen levels to get a better ratio? Sorry for my noobishness, but I'm interested...

dude, I'd just get on the finasteride... for me, after 8 months the only side effect that persists is a slightly softer erection, and that's only occasionally =) anyway, it's your call but I wish you the best :hump:

Just thought I'd add that it all seems to have cleared up anyhow. Had a couple weeks where stuff wasn't working and I was using the pills, but now it's all back to how it was before. Oh and I don't care if I have to take the pills, lol, I want to keep my hair xP
