How do you know that you didn't experience a shed because of the minoxidil or natural hair loss? Do you have any side effects from the oral minoxidil such as water retention, swelling or weight gain?
I don't think you're balding or losing your hair at the moment. I think if you did bald you'd still look cool. Hit the gym, listen to music and put out some good vibes and you're good to go. I think most of the people on here that suggest people get on finasteride or minoxidil to you are crazy...
Good luck with minoxidil. It only shed my hair and gave me dermatitis and itch no matter if it was foam or liquid. I'm the end buzzing your head is better than trying to regrow or maintain thin patches.
I run and do kettlebell at home. It feels good to give your all into exercise. I get anxious like you about the change in my hair but I've found that when I buzz my head I feel better. So many fit dudes with and without balding buzz their heads because it's freaking manly. And if you can grow...
These forums are ridiculous. I asked how long after quitting minoxidil will/if I will return to baseline. I don't want to use minoxidil because I'm not responding to it and I've tried applying it for a couple hours then washing it off. It still hurt my scalp and I don't get positive results. I...
I've been using minoxidil crap for 6 months. It's just been a hassle and has only made matters worse. I don't want to buy anymore things. In the end I don't want to hold on to thin spots that are an inch long by applying chemicals to my head. I think if you're a man losing your hair there comes...
Anyone quit minoxidil and return to baseline?
I've been using minoxidil for about five to six months just on the left side of my hairline/temple area. I've only shed some from this and have had any significant regrowth other than peach fuzz. I've been using minoxidil once a day. I decided to...
She could care less. The thing is it's just the left front that is thin but the right side hasn't changed much these past few years. It's more of my difficulty coping with change.
I was on the foam from May through August and experienced shedding a little behind the hairline which grew back thicker then switched to the liquid then had way more shedding on the front left of hairline and left temple. I'm hoping everything at least grows back to what it was like before the...
So, I've definitely shed a lot from Minoxidil just in the area I applied it. Now the hair that came back is peach fuzz. Will this hair return to the same thickness as the hair that was shed or better? Or did I just screw up the left side of my hairline the only area I've applied it?
I was having dermatitis or something from the foam. I had to quit it for about 1.5 weeks then I started the liquid. The liquid still gives me dandruff but I don't break out as much. I told my wife I just wanted to shave my head, but she thinks I shouldn't and I should continue using the liquid...
I initially had a shed on the foam which was a little behind my hairline but after a couple months it thickened up and looked better than before treatment. But then in the end of August I switched to the liquid and have been shedding mainly the front hairline. I only apply the liquid to the...
I switched from Rogaine foam to liquid during the start of September and experienced shedding from this. Has anyone experienced this? And how long does it take to recover?
I came across this study as well and it's not a well done study. I've found Nizoral to give me an itchy scalp due to it drying my scalp and hair. I know my experience is anecdotal but a dry scalp and dry hair is a bad combo.
