Good post Gillenator. There is a big difference between the doctor cutting the strip and making the incisions and then leaving the room for good and a Doctor who supervises the placement and is involved in the final stick and place for the final hairline touches.

Uneven growth is quite common. I've heard guys complain about it many many times. It should even out later.

The stubble is a phenomenon I experienced also to some degree. I'm not sure what it is, but it appears that the grafted hair breaks off and the remaining hair pushes up a little to form stubble. It will eventually fall out or get pushed out by the new follicle.
