Hair fibres or brush in concealer can be a temporary 'fix' to cover a few areas of a hair system that have shedded, if you don't have a fresh new system or you're waiting for your next one to arrive. This is something I've done, with varying results. The best bet is to always have a spare system...
I've never tried Walker scalp protector - so does it create a weaker bond with the glue? Then again, I see you only used 1 layer of Ghostbond Plantinum. If you read the instructions, you're supposed to use 4 layers, not just 1, so that's likely the reason why you're not getting enough hold.
Depends if you're gluing a lace or skin base. You can get away with not letting the glue dry if you're gluing a skin/poly system, but with lace you risk the glue seeping through and clogging up the lace if you don't let the glue dry first. Either way, glue won't give a proper hold until it's dry...
The best thing to do is send them an email or a message via AliExpress and ask them as I'm not sure. They can do quite a lot of custom stuff including colours etc so just ask them. They usually respond quite quickly too so are easy to deal with.
I use Esse Wigs in China, they have a website and Ali Express store. They make really good quality systems. They do stock and custom systems, are very reasonably priced and have great communication. Their shipping and turnaround times are pretty quick too. I've had custom systems made in just a...
I would go with a system that you can attach the back and perimeter with long hold tape - I've used Supertape or Walker Ultrahold tape and get up to a month between attachments. Of course, in hotter weather you'll get less than a month, but 10 days should be ok if you keep an eye on it. I find...
I use Okay Naturals coconut leave in conditioner most days. It does not need washing out, you just run it through the hair and use like a styling product. It adds a lot of moisture so prevents dryness, plus helps get rid of any 'puffiness' in a hair system and can provide a bit of hold without...
Looking at videos of clip on wigs/hair systems, there doesn't seem to be any way to attach the hairline. So I don't see how these would work in practice really. Even if the back and sides attach ok, if there's nothing to attach the hairline onto, then it's not going to work.
I've not tried a clip on wig / hair system, but I think they wouldn't be as securely attached as those using tape or glue. I think they're quicker and easily to attach and remove, though. Don't clip on hair systems go over your bio hair as opposed to a balding area too? I'm not entirely sure. I...
Not true. With longer hold tapes, you can get up to 3 to 4 weeks hold. I have a skin system, with lace for the hairline. I attached the skin part (back and sides) with Supertape and easily get 3 to 4 weeks hold. I reattach once a month on average. For the hairline, I used Ghost Bond (supreme or...
Esse Wigs in China can do customs like this quickly. Check out their website or Ali Express page. If you don't see what you want, message them and ask, I've always had good experiences with them.
