Hi
Just looking for some advice or does anyone know why this would happen.
Put a brand new hair system on just before going on holidays and when I came home noticed it had completely changed colour( picture below) this is not my first holiday with a hair system and never had this trouble before always applied leave in conditioner with uv protection a few times a day's especially when I was out in the sun light. And ideas why it would go so bad?

I also tried back2natural conditioner when I returned home to try restore the colour but to no use. Was thinking about trying to dye the system with just for men hair dye is this a good idea? Don't want to destroy the system as it is a brand new system

Thanks in advance for any advice

the sun/heat has been very bad for my system too - and that's in the UK where we barely get any sunshine normally!

I've had to dye my system twice, using any normal hair dye... i think I used Clairol. Leave it in for around 15 - 20 mins, worked for me.

Don't bother with back2natural , it never works for me.

Yes, you can dye a hair system with normal hair dye (either permanent or semi-permanent) and it doesn't matter if it's men's or women's hair dye as they're all just hair dye really. It works just like dying bio hair. Just be careful to keep the dye away from the lace when putting the dye on (if you have a lace system) as it will stain it. Make sure you get a good colour match too - do a 'patch' test on a small area of your system before you dye the whole system, as you don't want it to look far too dark or too light. Also, if it does end up too dark, sometimes just reducing the amount of time you leave hair dye on before rinsing it out will result in a slightly lighter shade, so experiment.

It's unusual to get that amount of fading in such a short space of time from the sun, especially if you used UV protection and Back2Natural. If all your hair systems from your current supplier fade as quickly, I'd suggest changing suppliers to a better quality one. Of course ALL hair systems fade, but it shouldn't be happening to that extent. Perhaps it might be a good idea to wear a hat if you're going outside in really hot sun.
