The point is you shouldn't have to 'trust', there should be enough detailed documenation of the study to not wonder about its legitimacy.
The twin study 'could be' real, but the documenation is minimal. No photos, specific data etc. etc. so it makes sense to question whether it happened or not.
Take photos of your head. Top, Front, Sides, Back etc. and post them here.
If you can't do that or don't want to, look at your hair - is your hair loss only on top or is on the sides and back as well? Telogen Effluvium would affect your whole scalp - not just hairs on top.
Well if your hair loss is all over - it can be stress related. If its only on top - its male pattern baldness. Stress isn't going to cause someone to develop a horseshoe look, only heriditary hair loss does that.

We need photos, more importantly - we need valid photos w/ dated forum threads. Meaning if someone starts treatment in March, they need to put up a thread with a photo of their hair IN MARCH. Then after the 1 year...
Bad example. I don't follow him enough, I always thought he was a baldy.
My point remains though, a balding actor has a lesser chance at becoming a star because agencies will tend to overlook him. Even if he/she looks good they can find someone else who looks good AND has hair. Your looks...
Better question - Why are there so many people crying about shedding and propecia's uneffectiveness when there are sticky'd threads and articles stating that you need to ride out the first year of treatment to make a legit conclusion on whether the drug is working or not?
Also, many of those...
Stress can cause hair loss. We all know that, BUT it does not specificially target hairs on top - it affects hairs all over the scalp. Everyones concern here is losing hair on top, except for the very small % who experience progressive hair loss on entire scalp.
Person A carries the gene for male pattern baldness. Person B does not.
Person A is going to start losing his hair (on top) at some point after puberty and he has no control over it (w/ out treatments) and won't see it grow back (w/ out treatments).
Person B can eat junk all day, not exercise, work a...
