Estrogen kills hair follicles... Instead of saving them

Testosterone is a precursor to all the estrogen in men. Excess testosterone gets converted to estrogen, this is why steroid users lose their hair and gain muscle while also having sexual dysfunction and gyno. Your hair is not shedding because of excess estrogen itself.

No from what I can tell a complete hormone screening is something like $600.

Prolactin "minitherapy" with SMI-1 (novel protocol for lowering prolactin locally)

Does anyone have a theory or possible explanation for why this treatment would continue to show results so far past its cessation? That’s the most inexplainable part to me.

If you do get gyno surgery pick the right surgeon. The previous train of thought has been that you can’t remove the entire gland and as a result it will just grow back, but there are novel surgery techniques now that can remove the entire gland with the same aesthetic results. My surgeon removed...

My temples have actually fared pretty well. I’m a textbook diffuse thinner. Hair is almost translucent in places under the sun. I guess I’m fortunate that you can still barely tell I’m balding from the front though.

Unfortunately my regimen is failing me. Currently on 150mg bicalutamide, 0.5mg dutasteride, 2mg estradiol, and 10mg oral minoxidil. Not really sure where to go from here.

Just finished gyno surgery. I’ll update y’all on the results. Surgeon said he could remove the entire gland so that recurrence was impossible. If he was successful that’s huge.

Hair is not Life but it's Pretty Damn Close; HRT and Pictorial Posts Prove it.

it seems to me that I’m shedding a ton of hair since starting topical estrogel on my scalp, but interestingly it’s been almost exclusively terminal hairs. I’m thinking the scalp irritation might be too much for me and it’s causing some shedding so I might be switching to a more traditional...

The alcohol from estrogel is a bit brutal on my scalp. I wonder if I could buy estrogen powder somewhere and make my own vehicle that’s less irritating.

Lots of people seem to have had success on Cyproterone Acetate, for me it was like a sugar pill. I was taking 50mg monotherapy at one point in time and it felt like I was on nothing. Out of pure curiosity I should've gotten my T levels checked to see what was going on. I'll never understand why...

I started estrogel a few days ago. I’m not planning to take enough to significantly down-regulate my testosterone, but I hope that it will reduce it to within normal male ranges again since bicalutamide raises your testosterone. Even that’s doubtful at my dosage though. The primary reason I...

I think my goals differ quite a bit from Janey and Bridgeburn and are probably more in line with what most guys here want. I’m just trying to save my hair with the least amount of feminization possible. It helps that I started when I wasn’t anywhere near as far gone as others here. My advice is...

Figured this might be helpful to some lurkers. Here’s my body transformation from a little over a year on bica. For about 3 months I was on bica and CPA. I’m at a higher body fat percentage in the 2nd but that’s because I gained weight, nothing to do with the drugs. The only drug induced...

I’m starting estrogen today. Applying 2-3 pumps of estrogel topically to my scalp. I don’t know how much will be absorbed there but we’ll see.
