Thing about it is is that psoriasis typically has bleeding when picked (Auspitz sign) and seborrheic dermatitis usually is more yellow. Either way I'd try some antifungal shampoos like Nizoral and also try Head and Shoulder's like your doctor said and see how you're doing then.
