I've been on minoxidil for 5 months now. My hairline and density were in much better shape before I started the treatment. Every time I apply it my fingers come away with about 50 strands of hairs. I'm certain the only thing it's doing to my hair is making it worse.
Would I be safe to stop...
I'll be brutally honest with you. A hair transplant would not be a good idea. Your hair loss is too aggressive and your donor area is weak. You'd need at least two hair transplants to cover front to back and even at that I'd imagine the density would be very poor.
It's funny you should say that because looking at older posts, I've seen a lot of people saying its effectiveness wore off after 8-9 months, including myself. In the last month my temples and crown have started to thin out again after 8 months of use and I'm also on Finasteride.
I just realized something. Two weeks ago I added Nizoral to my regime for the first time. Coincidentally, these last two week's have been my worst shed since I've been on Finasteride. Coukd Nizoral be the culprit here?
As the title suggests. I've searched around past posts on this topic but I have not yet found a clear cut answer.
It's apparent that sheds do happen while taking Finasteride, be it 3,4,5,6 months etc. I see a lot of people saying not to worry and that the shedded hair will grow back but I'm yet...
Dude, come on... This is all in your head. No woman would break up with you for having smaller hands. If it makes you feel any better, I have the most feminine looking hands around and I do alright. I've even worn my hello kitty morning gown to emphasize how feminine my hands are.
Right now I'm going through a horrible shed so I don't know. Whenever it starts to look like I'm gaining ground I experience a shed and lose it again. I'm 9 months in so I'll stick it out until the year mark before deciding to continue or quit.
