yes, i do have some pictures. However, they dont show very much due to the fact that my hair has grown significantly. However, i could try to post them if you would like.

i dont really mean to argue with college, since his is much more knowledgable than I am, but I think that i similar double blind study was conducted which showed that finasteride did infact maintain in the front also. I think the pdf is available somewhere on this site.

dude, do not quit. I know it may seem counterproductive but very few people actually loose hair while on minoxidil, after all it is one of only two drugs approved by the FDA to regrow hair. You should definitely stay on it for at least 3-6 months.

Andrew, I am in much the same boat as you. I am a diffused thinner and have had some thinning (probably about as much as you) on the top and some slight recession of the temples (about 1 inch). I am also on finasteride + nizoral for a little longer than you (a little over 3 months). I haven't added minoxidil...

when did you start noticing improvement?

i dont know if you are bieng serious or not in the first part of that post, but sexual activities and the absense there of does not effect hairloss. Also, nizoral by itself will not effect hairloss, although it may reduce the irritation and itching of the scalp that often accompanies hairloss...

wait....now im confused. Your post says 3 month difference, but your regimen says that you have been on propecia for over a year? what is this post getting at?

well...first off, propecia often takes more than 3 months to show significant difference or to prevent fallout. Second, propecia has been shown to work better when maintaining hair as opposed to rapid regrowth (that is minoxidil's claim to fame). I dont think that those pics show very much and...

just remember that finasteride and minoxidil are the only two things period certified by the FDA to regrow or maintain hair. Nizoral was shown to have regrowth potential equivalent to that of 2% minoxidil but is not FDA certified. However, it does have great anti inflamatory qualities. that is why those are...
